TR delivers two stages of Kayak Safety Certification.

Stage 3 (4-days): Rivers up to Grade 3(AWA)

Pre-requisites include documentation of navigation in Grade 3 rivers, kayak roll both sides, correct PPE, Swiftwater Rescue Technician Level 3 Active Certification, Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certification (AWFA) or Wilderness First Responder (WFR).

Stage 4 (5 days): Rivers Grade 4/5 (AWA)

Pre-requisites include documentation of navigation in Grade 4/5 rivers, Kayak roll both sides, hand roll, correct PPE, Swiftwater Rescue Technician Level 4(Advanced) Active Certification, Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certification (AWFA) or Wilderness First Responder (WFR).
